These activities focus on the educator presenting a strong model to children of what the whole body can do in time with the song.  The actions are often prompted by the lyrics thus making the activity an opportunity for language development as well as for physical coordination.  The children will enjoy mimicking the actions and feeling the rhythm of the song in their whole body.
