You need multiple instruments enough for each child in the room. That doesn’t mean having a huge range of instruments on display all at once. If you have too many choices of instruments on view you often get disharmony and your job becomes harder.

This set is limited to just two, 20 pairs of quick-response castanets and 20 pairs of easy-to-hold finger-cymbals. The benefit of each instrument coming as a pair is that the children learn the good musician’s skill of playing with both hands — not just favouring the dominant hand.
