  • Stimulate tactile, visual, auditory and kinesthetic neural pathways
  • Optimise physical development and coordination
  • Enhance self-esteem
  • Stimulate language and speech development
  • Stimulate mathematical development
  • Promote regulated social interaction
  • Stimulate musical, dance and dramatic play
  • Evoke dramatic and emotional expression
  • Develop coordination and timing
  • Kindle innate creativity and enrich imagination
  • Encourage relaxation and well-being
  • Provoke pleasurable feelings

In these practical workshops you will learn songs and activites for social conventions, body percussion, finger plays, memory, untuned percussion, melody and harmony percussion, songs and drama, games and dances, music appreciation, and nursery rhymes with literature and art .

Our songs and singing-games will have you forgetting yourself as you perform the actions, play the instruments, dress up, dance communally in circles and engross yourself in delicious illustrations.

You will gain or re-gain your confidence in music, movement, dance and drama by experiencing first-hand the enjoyment in participation.

We'll discuss what emerges from these experiences and help direct your insights to planning rich new arts activities for the children in your care.

You'll be able to keep the detailed handout with the lyrics and activities or buy the CD to fully prompt your memory of the songs.
