In every lesson they are active as they play instruments, move, dance, dramatise and learn to sing new songs.  Each kindergarten music lesson follows the same format but with different songs.  For example, after we do a body percussion song, we always do a finger play.

This is a complete curriculum with ten kindergarten music activities:

The 10 activities are body percussion; finger play; memory song; rhythm instruments; melody and harmony instruments; horse-riding song; drama and movement; game and dance; story song and social conventions.

Each activity develops one or more of the following musical skills:

The 6 musical skills are: listening; moving; singing; playing instruments; dancing; and improvising.

Each activity develops one or more of the following musical elements and concepts:

The 12 musical elements and concepts are: rhythm; pitch; melody; harmony; timbre; texture; form; style; and expression – made up of tempo, dynamics, articulation, and interpretation.
